Annabel Wrigley

ANNABEL WRIGLEY, USA

Annabel Wrigley is an Australian born textile artist living in Richmond, Virginia.
Her work combines layered fabric, expressive stitching and bold colour to create contemporary pieces rooted in texture and narrative.

Her practice blends traditional quilting techniques with modern design, exploring themes of memory, materiality and the emotional resonance of cloth.

Annabel has authored several books focusing on sewing with children and is currently designing fabric with Windham Fabrics.

She has taught for several guilds in the United States in addition to teaching at QuiltCon and Penland School of Craft.

Her upcoming 3rd solo show, ‘Dopamine’ takes place in October of 2026 and explores the power of colour and the joy it creates.
