This display of 30 miniature quilts by Kumiko Frydl will delight all who see it.

The detail is amazing – these are not single quilt blocks – they are miniature quilts which are a true replica of a full-size quilt and are approximately 30cm square.

Kumiko began downsizing her quilts to miniature when she was relocating frequently due to her husband’s work and has since become a well-known author on the subject.

Having had solo exhibitions in countries around the world, we are honoured to have her display at AQC this year.

Kumiko Frydl is a tutor at this year’s convention and looks forward to sharing her work and knowledge with you.
