Emma Jean Jansen has been creating patchwork quilts since she was a teenager. She learnt patchwork from her mother and together they ran Ballarat Patchwork for over 10 years.
Emma loves designing her own quilts and is known for her use of bright colours and re-take on traditional piecing.

She is also a qualified Textile Designer getting her degree from RMIT and has released seven fabrics ranges with the Australian company Ella Blue.
Emma has written one book, By The Bundle which features 12 fat quarter friendly quilt patterns.
