2027 Class – Mono Printing

MONO PRINTING

TUTOR: KAREN LEWIS

In this class we will be exploring the technique of mono printing starting with simple silhouette designs to see the effects of this technique.

We will then experiment with mark making tools around the house and in nature to get more detail in our designs. We will look at multi layering by adding white to change the shade of a colour as well as multi colours to see the different effects.

We will discuss how we can use our mono printed fabrics in a variety of ways in our projects.

Skill level: All levels
