KAREN LEWIS – UNITED KINGDOM
Karen is from Leeds, UK where she learned to sew with her grandmother. Several years later, turning her back on her teaching career, she came back to her crafting roots.
Karen always had a passion for textiles, pattern and colour and after a brief silkscreen printing course, she set about teaching herself more in order to design her own fabric.
She incorporated this into her quilting, where she has a particular love for mindful hand piecing and hand quilting.
Karen loves to teach printing and quilting in the UK and overseas and is a regular faculty member at Quiltcon.
