Join Karen for two fabulous days learning a variety of textural hand embroidery stitches for the smaller version of her original Bloom Doctor’s Bag. A cute bird and butterfly complement the floral designs stitched on a lovely mid-weight linen, each exploring new stitches and techniques.
The bag features an internal and small external pocket with a hinged tubular frame which opens fully to allow easy access to the bag’s surprising capacity. It measures 9 x 9 x 5 inches.
Skill level: Suits a confident beginner to advanced stitcher

TWO-DAY CLASS: Saturday & Sunday, April 17 & 18
Class times: 9am to 5pm
Materials fee: $80
Payable direct to the tutor. Please have the exact amount in cash in an envelope with your name on it.
The kit includes:
- Pattern,
- Stitch guides,
- Hinged tubular frame,
- Linen fabrics,
- Threads,
- Liberty pocket fabric,
- Loft and woven interfacing,
- Buttons,
- Ribbon braid
- Handle tape
- Needles.
You will need to bring:
- Small embroidery scissors
- 2B pencil for notes, additional marking
- Preferred marking tool (eg Clover blue pen)
- Small hoop (optional) 5 to 6 inches
- Small ruler with ¼” markings (eg 2 ½” square or 1” x 6”) there will be some to share
- Small light/magnifier if you usually use one (will need to be battery or rechargeable in the classroom)
