PORTRAIT COLLAGE
TUTOR: CECILIA KOPPMAN
What if instead of hair you have leaves, flowers, or crockery?
What if the eyes aren’t the same?
What if the hat is a bird and the nose a lizard?
Gather your printed fabrics and make portraits without being faithful to any real image. We’ll explore examples to spark creativity, then Cecilia will guide you to start your portrait, develop an interesting background, and get the most from your prints.
You’ll practice different appliqué methods to find the right fit for each situation.
