DIARY OF CALM
TUTOR: AITOR SARAIBA
The Diary of Calm sewing workshop invites you to slow down and reconnect through simple, mindful stitching.
We will explore different types of stitches, enjoy moments of calm and creativity, and work with beautiful fabrics — sewing our own stories, one thread at a time.
This is a project-based class combining mindful sewing, creative embroidery and personal expression.
Participants will explore different creative embroidery stitches, basic sewing techniques, fabric composition and ways to use stitching as a calm, reflective practice. They will learn how to combine fabrics and stitches to express personal ideas and stories.
Each participant will create a personal Diary of Calm using fabric, thread and simple stitched compositions. The finished piece will become a quiet visual record of their ideas, memories or feelings, developed one thread at a time.
Skill level: All levels. This is a handwork class.
