SNIPPET ROLL
TUTOR: AITOR SARAIBA
Participants will explore creative embroidery, textile composition, colour, stitch, layering and ways of developing a personal visual language. This project-based class will focus on creative textile techniques.
Each participant will create their own embroidered snippet roll, using the creative techniques explored in class while developing a personal style and a meaningful collection of textile fragments.
Skill level: All levels. This is a handwork class.

Class Requirements
SNIPPET ROLL WITH AITOR SARAIBA
One-day Class: Friday, April 16
Class times: 10am to 5pm
Materials fee: $75
Payable direct to the tutor. Please have the exact amount in cash in an envelope with your name on it.
The kit includes:
- A snippet roll on a vintage-style wooden clip with hand-spun and hand-woven cotton and silk fabric
- A selection of fabrics and others printed with hand-block prints
- A print featuring illustrations by Aitor Saraiba to inspire your creations
- Yarn made in Spain
You will need to bring:
- Your basic sewing kit
