CREATIVE EMBROIDERY
TUTOR: AITOR SARAIBA
An invitation to pause, to breathe, and to reconnect with the rhythm of your hands. In this workshop, sewing becomes a calm, grounding practice, one that gently quiets the mind while allowing creativity to unfold naturally.
This technique-based class will centre on creative embroidery, slow stitching and intuitive textile work.
Participants will learn how to work with recycled fabrics, combine different textile pieces and use free stitches without patterns or strict rules. They will explore composition, texture, colour and improvisation while developing a relaxed and personal approach to embroidery.
The final work will reflect their own ideas, rhythms and creative style, while celebrating reuse, spontaneity and the beauty of imperfection. No previous experience is required.
Skill level: All levels. The class is handwork.
