AITOR SARAIBA, SPAIN
Aitor Saraiba is a Spanish visual artist, writer and multidisciplinary creator whose practice centres on textile art, traditional craft and storytelling. Working across embroidery, sewing, ceramics, drawing and writing, he explores memory, identity, spirituality and inherited knowledge.
His connection with textiles began in his family home, and many works continue to be made collaboratively with his family. He is also the author and illustrator of several books published in Spanish; his first book in English, Embroider, Mend and Sew, was published worldwide in October 2026.
Saraiba leads workshops, talks and community projects internationally, using textiles, writing and drawing to foster creativity and connection.
