Simply Design
TUTOR: LOIS PARISH EVANS
A technique class where we will use a leaf shape as inspiration and explore ways of creating a simple design, extending the design in different directions, and ultimately creating multiple designs.
The aim of the workshop is to create a series of design samples that can be referenced at a later date for textile/quilting pieces. We will discuss and explore ways of using them in textile artworks.
Techniques and Outcomes:
- Participants will learn simple design development, from inspiration to an executable design.
- Learn and explore ways of using designs created from the workshop in textile artwork.
