TUTOR: CAROLINA ONETO
Join Carolina in this class where you’ll design and create a mini quilt top measuring 18″ x 22″. Throughout the session, you’ll learn how to draw, cut, and sew curves while exploring various designs and employing value, hue, and gradients for compelling compositions. You’ll master the art of cutting fabrics into complex shapes and sewing curved pieces by machine.
This class is perfect for all skill levels, and you’ll leave with the ability to design and create your own unique quilts! Key skills you’ll develop include curved piecing, working with value gradients, and designing your own patterns. Don’t miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity!

CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Waves and shapes with Carolina Oneto
One-day Class: Friday, April 11
Class times: 10am to 5pm
Students need to bring:
• 18″ x 22″ piece of freezer paper (you can buy a roll of freezer paper or join 4 A4 size sheets together)
• Hue A: 6 different values, 1FQ per value
• Hue B: 6 different values, 1FQ per value
• Paper scissors
• Pins
• Fabric marker (erasable)
• Cutting mat and rotary cutter (important: with a new blade)
• Quilting ruler
• Thread for sewing
• Notebook and pencil for taking notes
At home to complete the project you will need: batting, backing, binding and quilting – do not bring these to class.
Sewing machines will be used in this class.
