An image will be provided if you are unsure about creating your own visual piece on the day. All are welcome to come and play!
This is your first step into creating your artwork. A demonstration of quilting techniques will also be shown on the day.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Free Flow Fabric Painting with Tania Tanti
One-day Class: Saturday, April 12
Class times: 9am to 5pm (2 hour lunch break)
Materials fee – please have the exact amount in an envelope in cash with your name on the front: $30 for fabric paint, fabric for class, 12wt Aurifil thread, general supplies
- Scrap paper for doodling and something to draw with – pen, pencil whatever you prefer
- Blue water-soluble-ink pen
- A small variety of sizes of flat acrylic paintbrushes, eg: Royal & Langnickel Medium White Paintbrush Set 12 Pieces
- A couple of rags, cloth
- Container for water
- A couple of smooth plastic plates to use as your palette
- Apron or painting shirt
- Hand embroidery needles and general sewing supplies
Your project will only reach the first stage which is the painted stage. To complete your project you will need a variety of thread colours both for machine and hand stitching, a stable batting and a piece of backing fabric – do not bring these to class. No sewing will be done on the day but Tania will demonstrate how your project can be quilted.
