Embroidered Boro Pillow or Rice Bag
TUTOR: WENDY WILLIAMS
Here’s a clever, contemporary take on the traditional Japanese boro technique.
This is also a great way to learn and experiment with a variety of threads and practice embroidery stitches.
You will work on the embroidery boro pieces in class and then make them into a completed project at a later date.
Wendy will take you through the basics of boro and teach a variety of embroidery stitches. No matter your level of ability, this will be a lovely way to spend the day, and you’ll have some exciting embellished fabric to work with at home.
The pattern will have instructions for both projects.
