Sue Dennis: A quilter from Queensland, Sue is a member of the Viewpoints 9 group who are 9 quilters from five different countries and collaborate on themed challenges.21 Meet Sue at the display from the Constants & Variables challenge.

Helen Godden: Well known for her art quilts, see Helen demonstrate the Sweet Sixteen Handi Quilter machine at the expo, Stand 101.

Heather Grant: Instrumental in the modern quilting scene, Heather is on the board of the Modern Quilt Guild and will be with the Best of QuiltCon travelling exhibit. Stop by and say hello.

Maxine Fry & Suzanne Gummow: From South Australia, Maxine and Suzanne will be there with the display Collage to Stitch.

Michele Hill: Make sure to drop by the Bernina, Stand 118 and say hello to awardwinning quilt maker, Michele Hill. Michele is known for her love of applique and admiration of William Morris. Be inspired by some of her original work on display as well as some new creations never seen before.

Rachaeldaisy: Talk to the quilter behind the quilt – Rachaeldaisy will be at AQC to answer questions about Whizz Bang! It’s an unusual style of quilt that people may not have seen before, so come along and meet her any day between 11am and 1pm, in the Best of Australia exhibit.

Norma Slabbert: Maker of the Year 60 Diary Quilt. Making a block a day in her 60th year, Norma Slabbert’s quilt is about the everyday and the daily practice of quilting.22 Norma is a quilt maker and writer from Hamilton, New Zealand.

Angela Walters: Rock star in the modern quilting world and collaborator with Tula Pink. Meet Angela at the Handi Quilter stand 101 and also attend her Thursday evening lecture.

Leonie West: Inventor of the Westalee Rulers will demonstrate on Brother stand at 1pm daily, and will conduct a seminar for Punch with Judy stand 111.

Katherine Jones: Modern quilter from Tasmania has had a big year taking out three Best of Show awards! Winner of Best of Show at the Tasmanian Quilting Guild’s Island Quilts event, Best of Show at the AMQF in Adelaide and Best of Show at QuiltCon in the USA. Wow … meet Katherine in the Quilt Show on Saturday and Sunday, in the Best of Australia exhibit from 10am to 11am and at Best of Quiltcon from 2pm to 3pm.
